About
Shannon J Lewis is a self-taught abstract artist living and working in East Vancouver. She works in bold explosions of colour, experimenting with patterns and texture. Shannon draws inspiration from all of the 'accidental art' that appears in the city: Graffiti on top of graffiti, faded signs, rusted metal, and ripped posters. As a bass player in a punk band, Shannon also brings a bit of that attitude and energy into her art.
Shannon acknowledges that she lives on the unceded traditional land of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh nations
